3rd Africa Conference on Sexual Health and Rights, Abuja, Nigeria
Conference Theme: Sexuality, Poverty and Accountability in Africa
Action Health Incorporated, under the auspices of the African Federation
for Sexual Health and Rights, is pleased to announce this conference on
Sexual Health and Rights. The conference seeks to bring together key
actors in the field of sexual health and rights to explore how sexuality
has affected and can improve development in Africa, especially when working
with women and youth.
The conference will consist of plenary sessions, skills building
activities, symposia, roundtables, poster presentations and exhibitions.
The deadline for submission of abstracts for the 3rd Africa Conference on
Sexual Health and Rights is September 30, 2007.

Innovations and Progress in Healthcare for Women

The UCL Elizabeth Garret Anderson Institute for Women's Health
International Meeting will bring together a group of international
experts to address a range of Themes (Maternal and Neonatal Health,
Reproductive Health, Cancer) and a series of cross cutting topics
(Advances in Basic Science, Progress in Translational Research,
Innovation in Clinical Care, Developments in Health Care Organisation,
Implications for the Developing World).
The primary purpose of this meeting is to engage talented and committed
individuals with the mission of the institute to make a difference to the
health of women nationally and globally. We are keen to involve staff in
training posts as well as those more senior from a broad range of
disciplines including nurses, doctors, midwives, surgeons, laboratory
scientists, epidemiologists, sociologists, geneticists, psychologists and
others. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts and there will be
both oral and poster presentations alongside the invited expert talks.
