Welcome to the CORE Child Health and Development Database!

  English Español Français

This database aims to collect the best evidence-based documents, tools, and other materials developed by the PVO community for work in child health and development. We hope that this database will enable users to access materials that they can use and/or adapt, and to facilitate linkages with others who are doing similar work in different locations. Wherever possible, we've attached electronic copies of the materials; where electronic files are not available, information is provided on where you can access hard copies.To search the database click here.

This database is only as good as the information put into it. We know that there are many good documents, tools, and materials out there and would love to hear from you. If you have a document, tool, or material that others could benefit from, please take a few minutes to submit summary information about it, and the electronic file or information about where people can access a hard copy. All submissions will be reviewed for content and suitability prior to being accepted into the public database. Criteria for acceptance include:
  • Material was developed within the PVO/NGO community;
  • Material has been successfully used;
  • Material is applicable to the child health and development field;
  • The submission includes complete information;
  • Users are able to gain access to the material either electronically or through contacting the submitting organization

The CORE Group does not necessarily endorse or approve database materials. Evaluation information is included wherever available. Many materials have not been subjected to a rigorous evaluation process, but may provide ideas or information for use or adaptation. Database users are advised to review the information provided to determine if the material will be useful in the given environment.
