Synthesizes, refines and disseminates state-of-the-art child and maternal health practices, strategies and policies; Enhances professional development of members; Builds capacity and strengthens collaboration among members and partners to improve the health and well being of children and women on a large scale; Creates opportunities for members to dialogue and learn from international, regional and national experiences, networks and specialists; Facilitates member access to policymakers and forums to influence child and maternal health policy and practice; and Links members with public and private donor resources and expertise.
