CORE Group values program learning, encouraging constructive dialogue and exchanges among all partners to continually refine state-of-the-art knowledge and best practices based on program experience and use of data. In order to increase the overall program impact at scale of community health approaches, CORE Group is focusing attention on several key cross-cutting learning themes.
mHealth, or mobile health, refers to the use of mobile technology to support health programming. As mHealth has grown in popularity around the world, CORE Group convened this "mhealth community of practice” in response to interest in community-level applications that can increase quality, equity scale and/or sustainability of health efforts.
CORE Group's Community Health Network organizations and individuals work in varied community settings -- training and supporting Community Health Agents and building the capacity of the community to support them. We are committed to sharing best practices, tools, and resources that can help us be more effective in our work.
CORE Group’s Community Health Network is committed to learning about effective tools and strategies to design and measure equity-focused health programs.We are committed to sharing guidance on incorporating health equity into maternal, neonatal and child health project designs; highlighting tools and resources for equity design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; and describing country case studies with lessons learned.
