In addition to CORE Group's eight technical and cross-cutting Working Groups--which are member-led--we also participate in larger projects and programs. These programs strengthen our members’ services, support our Working Group activities, link our community with global technical experts and state-of-the-art information and/or provide resources and opportunities to expand and diffuse community health program knowledge. At present, we are engaged with the following programs: MCHIP, TOPS and the Food Security Network, Family Planning/Flexible Fund, and Global Networking.
MCHIP
MCHIP (Maternal Child Health Integrated Program) is the USAID Bureau for Global Health flagship program designed to accelerate the reduction of maternal, newborn and child mortality in the 30 USAID priority countries facing the highest disease burden.
By partnering, CORE Group opens up MCHIP access to an expanded base of community expertise and experiences as well as access to community health practitioners.
TOPS and the Food Security Network
CORE Group, through its partnership on the TOPS Program, is helping to build the Food Security and Nutrition (FSN) Network, an open community of practice for food security practitioners. The FSN Network works to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration around technical innovation and best practices.
