Running C-IMCI Framework Workshops
Larry Casazza (WV, Co-Chair IMCI Working Group); Lynette Walker (CORE, IMCI Coordinator)

Session Objective:
Prepare participants to conduct country workshops with multiple stakeholders on the C-IMCI framework. The session will introduce participants to the CORE model for inter-organizational workshops on the C-IMCI Framework. A workshop was implemented in Bolivia with multiple stakeholders at the national level that enabled participants to build a common language around C-IMCI, create an initial mapping of efforts by the three elements and multi-sectoral platform, identify gaps in knowledge and systems constraints to C-IMCI implementation, and prioritize country planning efforts. The session provides an opportunity for PVOs to strengthen their role in C-IMCI country efforts and build collaborative relationships around the C-IMCI framework. Session participants will be provided with all communication tools, facilitation guides, and Power Point presentations to conduct country workshops.
