The session provides an overview of FHI/IMPACT’s technical assistance to CORE’s HIV/AIDS Working Group, and a discussion of the "Community Mobilization" section of the HIV/VCT Guidelines.

Stefania Slabyj, MSFS, is a Senior Program Officer for East/Central Africa (Anglophone). Ms. Slabyj has ten years of experience in international development, specializing in program management. She has lived and worked in Egypt, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.

Deborah Boswell, MSc., a VCT specialist is Senior Technical Officer. In collaboration with UNICEF, Ms. Boswell recently developed a guidance document outlining strategies for delivery of VCT to youth, children, and pregnant women. Prior to joining FHI she was an HIV/AIDS Training Consultant based in Zambia. A psychologist, she has worked in the field of HIV/AIDS for ten years in a clinical capacity as well as in prevention initiatives involving education and training.
