New Members Orientation Session
The CORE Group together with CSTS hosted its fourth annual Newcomers’ Orientation on Monday afternoon April 7. As in previous years, there was an excellent attendance of PVO staff who have joined their respective PVOs within the past year. The orientation aimed to introduce participants to more information about CORE and its activities, with a particular focus on assisting participants to select a CORE Working Group or Taskforce with which to become involved as part of the Spring Meeting (and beyond). It also provided an overview of the variety of CSTS initiatives for support to CORE and the CSHGP, an introduction of who to contact at CSTS for additional information, and an update from USAID staff on CSGHP issues of particular relevance to new staff.
