Inter-Working Group Sessions

  • C-IMCI Multi-Sectoral Platform - Task: Provide guidance on process / criteria needed to involve CORE community and other partners to provide concrete examples of the multi-sectoral platform (integrated multi-sectoral approaches that have resulted in impact) at a global workshop later in 2003.   • CORE Working at the Country Level - Task: Provide recommendations / guidance on necessary breadth and depth of coordination needed for CORE working group activities at the country level. What should / shouldn't be done in FY03 to lay a good foundation for future work? Bill Weiss and Sara Smith, CORE Polio Eradication Team members

  • Indicator Development for Behavioral Determinants - Task: Develop process / strategy for setting process indicators that help guide behavioral change Eric Swedberg, Chair SBC Working Group

  • MTCT (Mother to Child Transmission of HIV) - Task: Review state of current draft of MTCT and time permitting, VCT, guidelines and establish process to complete guidelines and select countries to field test them. Ruth Hope, Chair HIV/AIDS Working Group
